Founded in 2014, The Lamonts are a Maui based 5-piece band that recently were voted ‘Maui’s Best Band’ by MauiTime readers in MauiTime’s 2019 Best of Maui issue.  The Lamonts play all original music, delivering a high-energy genre falling somewhere in the zone of where punk rock meets hip hop…having drawn inspiration from bands such as the Beastie Boys, Devo, early Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine and Primus.
